CMF’s laboratory at CALA has now received a delivery of seven Waters G3 high-resolution mass spectrometry systems, dedicated to metabolomics and lipidomics analysis. Installation and laboratory setup will take place over the coming month, ahead of the systems becoming fully operational.
Once operational, the platform will be applied to the H4H samples, working alongside CMF’s laser-based Infrasampler technology to give H4H a more complete, multi-modal molecular profile of each sample.
The new metabolomics and lipidomics laboratory will be headed by Dr. Virág Sági-Kiss. Today’s delivery marks an important step towards strengthening H4H’s ability to detect biomarkers associated with chronic disease.
