Siegfried Mureşan, Member of the European Parliament, visited the scientists at Marvel Fusion and their LMU colleagues at the Centre for Advanced Laser Applications. He was accompanied by a delegation from the Bavarian State Chancellery, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Bayern Kapital, the venture and growth capital company of the Free State of Bavaria.
After a presentation by Marvel Fusion, the team gave a tour of the CALA laser system and visited the Marvel Fusion experimental chamber installed there, which the company exploits for experimental tests. The visit was rounded off with an intensive question and discussion session on key European technologies and the creation of supporting infrastructure.
