How can healthcare be made more effective and cost-efficient in the future? And what role can infrared molecular fingerprinting play in this? These were the central questions of the productive exchange between Ferenc Krausz and Mihaela Zigman with Parliamentary State Secretary Tino Sorge, CSU parliamentary group leader Klaus Holetschek, and Bernhard Seidenath, chairman of the Bavarian State Parliament's Committee on Health, Care, and Prevention.
After a presentation and a lively discussion, the guests visited the laboratories at LEX Photonics. Laboratory manager Frank Fleischmann explained the laser technology required to obtain a molecular fingerprint from a blood sample. The attoworld-team was delighted with the keen interest shown in its research. Thank you very much for visiting!
