Partnerships need to be cultivated, even among universities. And so a delegation led by the President of the University of Bordeaux has now paid a visit to colleagues from the Center for Advanced Laser Applications at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. The two universities have maintained a lively exchange since 2019, particularly in the fields of biosciences, physics and medicine.
At CALA, the French guests learned about the latest developments in the fields of high-field physics, laser-driven ion acceleration in medicine and basic research as well as the early detection of diseases using broadband IR spectroscopy of the blood.
