At this year’s “Master of the Olympic Lake” dragon boat race, the CALA-team competed under the motto “CALAgerfeld”: stylish, well-prepared, and highly motivated.
The team already made a strong impression on land: With a black-and-white look and an iconic catwalk, CALAgerfeld secured first place in the costume competition. Once on the water, it became clear that the team had more to offer than just a great outfit. After intensive preparation and joint training sessions, the team prevailed against a total of 20 teams: ten from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and ten from TU Munich. With a strong rhythm, full concentration, and great dedication, CALAgerfeld claimed first place in the dragon boat race. With two first-place prizes in the bag, the team now returns to the experiments – motivated, well-coordinated, and ready for the next challenges.
