Prof. Péter Horváth, State Secretary for Science Policy and Innovation in the newly formed Hungarian government, visited scientists at the Center for Molecular Fingerprinting in Munich for the first time. He was a guest at the Centre for Advanced Laser Applications (CALA) and learned about the possibilities of using laser spectroscopy to analyze blood samples for their molecular composition.

Ferenc Krausz, Alexander Weigel and Frank Fleischmann welcomed the State Secretary, explained the research project to him, and gave the delegation a tour of the laboratories. The State Secretary was very impressed by the research activities and the promising results.
